My guarantor doesn't own her own house, she's a council tenant i think but she's lived at her house for over 20 years. Can she be my guarantor?

Hi there,
Your guarantor does need to be a UK homeowner, either paying a mortgage or has already paid their mortgage off.
If your guarantor is renting her property FLM wouldn't be able to accept her unfortunately. If you can't think of anyone else who does own their own home, then you can always apply to our sister company FLM Quick who can accept guarantors who are renting. To find out more, click here
