FLM do not charge an upfront fee, we're a lender, not a broker.

If you want the money we have put aside for you, log in with your username and password and complete the application.

If you don't want to continue and want to cancel, click here. If you want a refund from your broker you will need to contact them directly. FLM have no say or power in who gets their money refunded. We also cannot pass any cancellations to your broker; you will have to do this yourself.

As we've said above, we have not taken any money from you. We don't and never have, charged our customer's upfront fees. If you've paid anything it would have been to your broker, the company that put you in touch with us. You'll need to speak to them.

I filled in an application and am waiting to sign it,however I noticed on the application document that I have to agree to a brokerage fee of £250.I did not go through a broker,I contacted FLM directly and as they are a lender and not a broker, then why do I have to pay this fee?

Hi Kez,

You are correct in that we are a lender and not a broker. However at some point during you going through the process of trying to get a loan you would have gone through a broker. This could have been over the phone or through an internet site. We would have then sent out forms to you. Your agreement number will have a couple of letters at the beginning, this is reference to what broker you came through.

We do not charge this fee upfront and is already included in your monthly payments.

hey, just looking at the documents to sign and see there is a £300 broker free, after reading the above comments i see if u go though a broker this will be charged by them, i found you via a search engine and have not contacted a broker, will i still have to pay with??

As Jon mentioned to Kez above. If you use a search engine to look for loans, you could click through a broker's website and found us. They have then pointed you in our direction. This is how you would have got a broker. Them putting you in touch is why there is a brokers fee.

If you have applied for a top up loan through the FLM website then you will not be charged a broker's fee.

The £200 is a commision that has to be paid to your broker who put you in contact with us. The fee that you have already paid to them is for them to find a loan for yourself. They are providing a service to you.

Don't worry, you dont have to pay this upfront as its already included in your monthly payments.
