Can I use a guarantor from outside of the UK?

Hi. Is it possible to use my parents as a guarantor, if they are living outside of uk? Thanks

Unfortunately your guarantor needs to be a UK homeowner and residing in the UK. We have to be able to send out important correspondance to their UK address. This can include letters, statements etc. It is part of our agreement with them that we will keep them fully up-to-date with how your loan is going.
Don't panic though, im sure you will be able to find another person to be your guarantor. I have provided a few links below to help out.
