FLM Loans (9 mths ago)
FLM do not charge an upfront fee, we're a lender, not a broker. Any upfront fees will of been charged by your broker, not by FLM.
When applying directly through FLM, set-up fees will apply to all loans under £3000 and for top-up loans. This will be added to your repayments and paid back in your monthly instalments. The monthly instalments on your paperwork will already include the fee.
If you still want the money we have put aside for you, log in with your username and password and complete the application.
If you don't want to continue and want to cancel, click here. If you want a refund from your broker you will need to contact them directly. FLM have no say or power in who gets their money refunded. We also cannot pass any cancellations to your broker; you will have to do this yourself.

As we've said above, we have not taken any money from you. We don't and never have, charged our customer's upfront fees. If you've paid anything it would have been to your broker, the company that put you in touch with us. You'll need to speak to them.

I filled in an application and am waiting to sign it,however I noticed on the application document that I have to agree to a brokerage fee of £250.I did not go through a broker,I contacted FLM directly and as they are a lender and not a broker, then why do I have to pay this fee?
FLM Loans (1 year ago)
Hi Kez,
You are correct in that we are a lender and not a broker. However at some point during you going through the process of trying to get a loan you would have gone through a broker. This could have been over the phone or through an internet site. We would have then sent out forms to you. Your agreement number will have a couple of letters at the beginning, this is reference to what broker you came through.
FLM do not charge a fee upfront and any set-up fees will already be included in your monthly payments.

hey, just looking at the documents to sign and see there is a £300 broker free, after reading the above comments i see if u go though a broker this will be charged by them, i found you via a search engine and have not contacted a broker, will i still have to pay with??
FLM Loans (1 year ago)
As Jon mentioned to Kez above. If you use a search engine to look for loans, you could click through a broker's website and found us. They have then pointed you in our direction. This is how you would have got a broker. Them putting you in touch is why there is a brokers fee.

i have applied for a top up loan of £5000 will i be charged a brokers fee again? i applied direct with you as i have a current loan with yourselves
FLM Loans (1 year ago)
If you have applied for a top up loan through the FLM website then you will not be charged a broker's fee.
carz (1 year ago)
im just applying for a loan through yourself and it said the is a fee of £200 I have already paid £50 through the broker i went through to get to you do i still pay £200
FLM Loans (1 year ago)
The £200 is a commision that has to be paid to your broker who put you in contact with us. The fee that you have already paid to them is for them to find a loan for yourself. They are providing a service to you.
Don't worry, you dont have to pay this upfront as its already included in your monthly payments.

Hi,
I have been recommended by a friend to look for a loan with you, as they have used you before. I have not gone through a broker/search engine will I still have to pay the charge that everyone above is going on about?
Kind Regards
FLM Loans (1 year ago)
If you haven't been through a broker and the agreement form you have received through the post, or you have printed off our website has come directly from us and not through a broker saying they will send you the paperwork, then you will have applied directly to us. FLM set-up fees are not charged upfront and are included in your monthly installments.
Brokers ask you to pay a fee because they are doing you a favour by helping you find a company who can give you a loan.

you have takin 69pound out of my bank,, and i would like it back in as i dont want to go further with this loan!
FLM Loans (1 year ago)
A lot of comments here have said the same thing. And as said before, FLM do not charge any upfront fees. If you have had this amount taken from your account it would be from a broker, the name of which may be on your statement when the money was taken.
dawn (1 year ago)
i am just in the middle of sorting my application on line and have read the above comments i dont yet have any paper work and do not know if i have got to you via a broker i have recived text messages from emma and am now worried i will have a fee to pay before getting the loan or after.
FLM Loans (1 year ago)
A Broker is someone who you speak to before you're referred to us. They're a company who help you find a lender if you can't find one yourself, and they normally charge a fee for this service. You may have spoken to them on the phone, you may have made applications online. However, if you have made an application directly on this website, and this website only then no brokerage fee will be included in your repayments.

on my loan application you sent me. it says broker fee£200, but i haven gone through a broker i have come to you direct?? i cannot afford £200, if i could afford £200 i will not need the loan.
as i have said i applied direct through the flm website and not a broker, can you correct this please
FLM Loans (12 mths ago)
£200 you see on your form is included in your repayments it isn't an up front charge. Your agreement number on our system tells me that a broker has passed you our details and referred you to us. This £200 is a commission that gets paid back to the broker who passed your details to us.

FLM Loans (12 mths ago)
Hi Christina,
Please refer to all previous comments - we're a lender not a broker, if you have had money taken from your account then you must contact the broker directly as we do not charge an upfront fee for getting a loan. Thanks
Garfield (12 mths ago)
Hi with reference to Christina's case,If she checks with her bank they will tell her who took the money out. However if it's like our situation,it could be an unknown company fraudulantly using another lenders name.Which we only discovered when logging onto this other company's site. She needs to contact her banks fraud dept to get help.I know this is not really a question more a statement but I hope you'll print this so that Christina will see it.As the amount she had taken and the circumstances, are the same as mine.

my daughter has just had the paper work off you for a loan, she has recommended you, and i have just come on your site, will i have to pay any fees, could you please inform me of any before i apply.
FLM Loans (9 mths ago)
Hi Alison,
You wont have to pay any fees to us for applying for a loan. As long as you haven't come to us via a broker, there will be no charges for you to pay.
april23 (9 mths ago)
I received flm form just now,but I dont want to go ahead to this loans,They said that i need to pay £69.50 taken to my bank, can you please dont do this because I dont want to go ahead this loan anymore so please!
FLM Loans (9 mths ago)
Hi April,
If you have paid a fee, it will have been to a broker not to FLM. We don't charge a fee to our customers for applying for a loan. If you can remember which broker you used, I would suggest phoning them to discuss a refund.
FLM Loans (7 mths ago)
Hi Rian,
I can see that you called our offices yesterday and cancelled your agreement with Chloe. Also, I can tell you that FLM do not charge a fee up front and the money that you have been charged was to the broker that you used to find us - Yes Loans. It is them that you need to approach for a refund.
