I have a closed account which is showing that has been closed in credit. How do i request this money back?

Hello I applied for a top up loan which has been accepted my new account has opended. I have looked at the details of my old account and it is showing that it has an overpayment of my usual monthly sum. How do i request this money back??? as this account is closed and the balance is eg. -£150.00 not £0.00 Thanks

When you apply for a topup, a caseworker will work out how much you have already paid off on your existing loan and then calculate how much you will receive in your topup. Remember, the topup pays off your existing loan and you get what is left over.
For example, If you have an outstanding balance of £1750 on your loan and you take a topup of £5000 you will receive £3250. The amount you will receive can vary depending if you have a loan payment due, any changes to the amount you receive in your topup will be confirmed by your caseworker.
In your case, you would have made an extra payment at somepoint, any extra payments would be carried forward. This would mean you got more money in your topup amount.

Hello, the only way for us to refund a payment IS to refund it to the card the payment was made on, as we have no other way of refunding a payment otherwise.

my account has been credited with the sum of 46.13 by mistake, could you refund this amount to the debit card which the payment was made from.
