However if your neice was to return her application form to us, I would like to reassure you that we always complete a number of security checks before we pay out a loan. We would also need to speak to you to confirm your details and answer questions about your employment/income/bank info, questions that would require very specific answers that only you would know.

If you do suspect any other reason for concern then don't hesitate to contact the police.
