With any kind of loan application we have to ensure that both you and your guarantor are protected under the data protection law. Your Dad can give his authority for your mum to speak on his behalf for general enquires.

Unfortunately she will not be able to complete the "Verbal Contract" (This is going over the details of the loan and the guarantors responsibility). If your Dad does have trouble with hearing this over the telephone we can issue a text version of the verbal contract, he will have to tick certain parts of the letter and sign at the end, this will be legally binding like the phone call.

When you talk to your caseworker, ensure that you inform them of the situation.
