My guarantor is a part time carer but owns other properties she rents out, can she be a guarantor and how do we prove her income

FLM Loans (9 mths ago)

It doesn't matter whether your guarantor is employed full time, part time, on benefits, pension, self-employed or unemployed! Basically, it does not matter where your guarantor gets their income from as long as they have at least £150 per month after all of their other expenses e.g. mortgage, loans, household bills etc. then that's OK (providing they fit the other guarantor criteria too).

We may need proof of the income, which can be a bank statement, payslip etc. but we'll let you and your guarantor know if we do need that when we talk to you both on the phone.
