Can a copy of a title register from the land registry be used to prove ownership, as my guarantor is having trouble locating the title deeds

As part of the application process that your caseworker goes through with you and your guarantor, they will check on the land registry system to find proof of homeownership.

If we have trouble locating them as the homeowner, we would ask your guarantor to provide us with either title deeds, mortgage statement, or a letter from the solicitor who they went with when arranging the purchase.
