Will taking an FLM loan out mean that i have joint finance with my guarantor?

My guarantor wanted to know before we go ahead with the FLM loan if this would class as joint finance or would we be financially linked?

As long as you keep up with your monthly repayments, the FLM Loan will not appear on your guarantor's credit file, so you will not be shown to have any joint finance.
However, if you fail to make your monthly repayments on time - and we have to take the repayment from your guarantor, then the FLM loan may show on your guarantors credit file and therefore you may be seen as being financially linked.
